As a Haitian, Rosemond Louissaint, founder of BHB, understands what it means to go hungry and not afford to pay for school. As a child, he often had to drop out of school because his parents were too poor. BHB cares because we want to offer as many students as possible, the ability to be educated and help to support a better Haiti for the future. We know that the basic need to eat, must be met daily to sustain growth in life. Rosemond was given this opportunity when he was only 18 by Pastor Broadfoot and the members of FMBC when they sponsored him as a Haitian Refugee to California.
